Traditional quilts galleries

I've broadened this category to include both collage and quilt forms. Each piece is shaped of materials that belonged to a loved one - a bow tie, letters, collected artifacts, or garment fragments. A dear friend is remembered in a series of 4 quilts. His shirts were unique and reflected the joy he took in life. Now, wife, daughter, son and I wrap ourselves in quilts made from his shirts, as we feast our eyes on the beauty of his choices made during his lifetime. I allow the materials to speak to me. I respond until a piece is completed.
